Public Space Kupang, Indonesia Located in the midst of the city development area by the ocean, the open air cinema MISBAR Kupang aims to promote the distribution of cinema while simultaneously creating public space as a platform for social interaction and creative activities. It will be the third completed Misbar, each with an unique and site-specific design. The concept of Misbar Kupang is a simple structure that adapts the basic concept of an Agora. Like Agora, the squared public space is surrounded by buildings that carry functions that support the life of the city and the community; meeting point, ticket box, office, operator room, multifunction room, retail, and outdoor space. Between functions, the pavilion contains open and covered spaces that are completely open to future city park.
